I was born in Ballarat, this is where gold was discovered the famous Victoria's gold rush in 1851. I was born a few years later more than 100 years later. I am the mother to Amy, and now Amy is a mum of 2 fabulous children. I have been working in the construction industry for 4 years as an Electrical spotter/Dogman which means I look after heavy machinery that work close to Powerlines or fibre optics. I love to read, work out puzzles, and to paint etc furniture and walls.

My Journey To Story Creation

I also love telling stories when Amy was a little girl I would read to her every night, one night Amy said she wanted to read me a story, that's when Amy asked me to show her how to read. I did, I spelt words out on objects such the word fan on a fan, the word door on a door the word wall on a Wall, as I read to Amy I would show her the word moving my finger down the page to each word so Amy will follow the word. I explained to her kindergarten teacher about Amy wanting to learn words. Amy did end up reading me a story at the end of the book she read to me, she had such a proud smile on her face and Amy is now reading to her children. Amy also still loves to read.

After reading Amy books others had created I decided to tell her a story I created and she loved it and I've been creating my own stories.
